About
Hi, my name is Azeem. I live with Muscular Dystrophy.
Doctors didn’t expect me to make it this far — but here I am. I know my time is limited, which is exactly why I refuse to waste the time I have. I want to leave something meaningful behind, something that speaks to people like me and to anyone who’s ever been told what they “can’t” do.
To do that, I need your help.
I’m not an able-bodied person, and throughout my life disability has often been treated as a setback — but never by me. In school, I was overlooked. With an able mind and a wheelchair, it was assumed I could simply “manage,” while attention went elsewhere. When the world shut down during the pandemic, I was cut off completely from support, development, and the stimulus I needed to grow.
This is the reality for so many people with physical disabilities — not a lack of ambition, but a lack of access, guidance, opportunity, and belief from the world around us. Without proper support, even the strongest spirits can be pushed toward despair.
I built Equal Clothing because I refused to accept that narrative.
I started with a simple realisation:
Equal = “Ability isn’t a look; it’s a mindset.”
It doesn’t matter how you move, how you look, or what limitations people assume you have — what matters is how you think, what you believe you can contribute, and how hard you’re willing to try.
Equal Clothing is my way of proving that.
It’s my way of showing that anyone — regardless of physical ability — can create, can contribute, and can build something with purpose.
What began as an idea to raise disability awareness became a mission to create high-quality, everyday clothing designed with intention — modular pieces that work together, fit comfortably, and look good whether you're dressing for the everyday or for a special occasion. Equal Clothing is built on thoughtful design and meaningful choices, not trends. Clothing that feels good, fits well, and reflects a mindset of confidence and capability.
This brand is my chance to demonstrate something deeply personal:
Equal Clothing – “Anyone Can Do It.”
No one succeeds alone. Everyone needs help, support, guidance, and opportunity — and when we work together, we can achieve remarkable things. Equal Clothing exists to show people like me that they are capable of more than society ever gave them credit for. That their ideas, creativity, and ambition matter.
I want Equal Clothing to stand for people who have been underestimated their whole lives — not as inspiration, but as proof. Proof that ability isn’t physical. Ability is mindset, opportunity, and the courage to try.
This is my story. This is my purpose.
And this is the legacy I’m determined to build — a brand that gives equality the voice it deserves.
