About

Hi, my name is Azeem. I live with Muscular Dystrophy.

Given my condition, I've exceeded the expectations of how long the doctors gave me on this earth. However, I'm well aware my time is limited, and I want to make the most of the time I have, which is why I've decided to make my mark in this life and leave a Legacy that I can be proud of and inspire like minded others no matter their abilities or disabilities. …… but I need your help to achieve this!

I am not an able-bodied person. Throughout my life, disabilities has been seen as a setback by society, but not for myself. In school, I found myself forgotten in the crowd when the focus shifted from physical disabilities to a focus on challenging behaviour and mental disabilities. It was assumed with an able mind and a wheelchair I could get on by myself. During the pandemic, I was shut off more and could not access the stimulus I needed to progress and develop, to be equal in endeavours as my peers were.

imilar obstacles are found for people in wheelchairs, and various physical disabilities who wish to enter the world of work and contribute to society. Without proper schooling, mentoring, access to further education and constraints on the types of jobs they could have, an ambitious personality could plummet into despair.

I set out to start a brand with a focus on disability awareness as well as challenging the market for competitive premium streetwear. I started with a simple idea that, although society can remind us that not everyone is equal, their contributions can be.

And this is how Equal Clothing was born.

This is my opportunity to prove that anyone can achieve through the perceived impossibilities of disabilities, as everyone needs help from friends sometimes and when we work together, we can all achieve amazing things.

I want my brand to show people like me that they can be creative; they can contribute, and they can be successful.

“Equal Clothing isn’t for anybody, it is for Any Body.”

I said at the beginning that I need your help, I'm passionate about my message and brand but need help to make my dream of creating Equal Clothing a reality. Equal Clothing and give equality the voice it deserves
